The Makita 446L is an L-Class rated wet and dry dust extractor with an overall tank volume of 27 litres. It has a dry capacity (container) of 18 litres and a wet capacity of 9 litres. It weighs approximately 9.9 Kg and has fixed rear wheels as well as rotating front wheels for easy transportation. 

One of the most useful features of the 446L is the
"Power Take Off"
mode. When a power tool is connected and triggered on by the user, the extractor will automatically start without the user needing to switch it on.

"Push and Clean"
technology - Fast and simple semi-automatic cleaning system which cleans the filter in a similar way to the "Xtreme Clean" feature on the 447 models.
1. Place your hand over the suction pipe creating a vacuum
2. Activate the cleaning process by pressing the button
3. Air is sucked in to the vacuum and forced through the filter, clearing the dust away into the bottom of the tank
